Supporting the call to amplify Black voices in healthcare.

I was delighted to attend the Caribbean and African Health Network Black Health summit in Parliament this week.

We heard from some of the very best clinicians on the fantastic work being done to end racial disparities in healthcare.

In the UK we are continuing to see significant disparities in the quality and outcomes of healthcare received by Black people. We need to turn this discourse on health inequality into policy to ensure that race is no longer a barrier to care.

I will continue to support these calls in Parliament.
