Joining volunteers to keep our streets clean.

Joined by Cllr Rahima Farah, Plus Dane Housing representatives, Liverpool Street Scene officers and residents.

This week I was delighted to be out and about in the Toxteth ward of my Liverpool Riverside constituency will local councillor Rahima Farah.

Alongside, Liverpool Street Scene officers, representatives from Plus Dane housing association and local residents who volunteered, we spent the afternoon cleaning up Toxteth’s streets.

I have heard first hand from residents complaints about a recent increase in fly-tipping in the area, I have raised this with Liverpool City Council and have been assured that the Street Scene team are monitoring the situation closely.
