Championing small businesses alongside Lloyds Banking Group

Today I met with local entrepreneurs and representatives from Lloyds Banking Group to talk about the great work they are doing to support small businesses in our area.

It was great to hear first-hand from business owners about the support that Lloyds are providing to start up companies as part of their Start Up Scale Up Academy which provides businesses with a roadmap for growth.

It was also great to hear from representatives the work that Lloyds are doing to give targeted support to Black-led businesses, a measure which I have been championing in Liverpool Riverside.

I look forward to seeing these locally founded businesses thrive.
