Two years on from the P&O scandal- we need a new deal for workers

Today I was proud to stand with members from the Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Union and Nautilus International Union on their demonstration outside of Parliament.

Two years on from P&O Ferries’ shocking dismissal of an entire UK seafarer workforce there has been a total failure by the Government to take promised action.

I am glad that Labour have committed to ending the cruel practice of “fire and rehire”. We need a Labour Government that will provide vital workplace protections under our- New Deal for Working People.
